OUR STORY

The ReNille Foundation, a nonprofit organization created to assist seniors, was initiated on September 9, 2025 by Founder and Executive Director LaKeshia Holloway in an effort to continue the compassionate work of her sister, Tywana ReNille Fountain. Tywana, who passed away on February 6, 2025, spent her adult life caring for seniors as a licensed practical nurse. She would always say “I want seniors to know that they are not forgotten and that at least one person in the world cares about them and their well-being.” The ReNille Foundation was founded on that same philosophy to continue Tywana’s compassionate journey through programs that assist seniors with everyday living expenses such as utilities, medicine, housing, entertainment, etc. We are dedicated to doing our part in ensuring that seniors can enjoy a better quality of life.

The purpose of The ReNille Foundation is to care for seniors with compassion and respect, to recognize their needs, and to provide assistance that promotes their well-being. The ReNille Foundation is committed to ensuring that seniors can maintain their dignity, access essential care, and enjoy a higher quality of life.

Our mission is to help eligible seniors maintain a high quality of life by providing financial assistance through organizational programs funded by community donations and state and federal grants.

Am I eligible for assistance?

To qualify for assistance, you must meet all of the following requirements:

Must be 65 years or older.
Must meet income guidelines.
Must be a resident of Arkansas.

How do I apply for assistance?

You can apply by completing the online application .

How long does it take for my request to be approved?

Approval time is based on several conditions, including the availability of funds and the length of time to receive all required paperwork for eligibility determination. We aim to have a decision within 14-21 business days of receipt of all documentation. Funds are typically electronically issued within 5-7 business days of approval.

How can I check on the status of my application?

Status updates will be sent automatically to your preferred method of contact every 2-3 business days. If you do not receive an update, you can contact us by email or phone at 501-529-7577.

Can I apply more than once?

Yes. Qualification more than once for assistance is determined on a case-by-case basis. You can only qualify for assistance two (2) times within a 12-month period. To apply, submit a new application for consideration.

What is the maximum amount I can apply for?

Approval amount is determined by individual need and the availability of funds.

Can I apply on someone else’s behalf?

Yes. You can apply by completing the online application .

How does the foundation raise money for its programs?

The ReNille Foundation currently raises money for its programs through charitable donations and state/federal grants.

How can I donate to the foundation?

Donations can be made electronically by visiting our “Donate” page.

Why does Zefty ask for a tip at checkout?

We partner with Zeffy to process our online donations. Traditional platforms take a percentage of every dollar you give to cover credit card fees. Zeffy never charges us fees, meaning 100% of your donation goes straight toward our mission.
